One more thing crossed off my bucket list!
Was so excited to finally take a class with Jo Diggs on fabric landscapes and fishscapes. I have admired her work for years. Things fell into place and took the class last Saturday. It was lots of fun and work, too.
In the morning, we worked on a landscape using only three fabrics. Mine is finally sewn, but not in a finished piece yet. Have been looking for the perfect fabric, which I know I have to frame it.
Then we worked on another piece using any fabric we wanted. Mine is still in the design state.
Pot Luck, yummy, full, lazy but back to work. Fish, fish, fish, what fun. Ever try to make a fun fish? It is fun. But, it takes a lot of planning to get the seaweed, etc. etc. to work with the fish. I can't wait to tackle sewing the piece together, maybe later tonight. Ramona from Maine

First time Blogger
This is my first time posting a blog. I have read many and follow quite a few. Sooooo I thought I would give it a try.
Last night I went to the Merrymeeting Adult Education Art show. I went as an instructor and as a student. I taught the Rail Fence quilt class and took a watercolor class.
It was a very nice show, with lots of talent. I was extremely happy with all the comments I got on both my class and my paintings.
